Purple Lily Pearl
Purple Lily Pearl is a necklace inspired by Flowers Hand Scroll, a Chinese painting held in the Palace Museum. The lily was chosen as a symbol of purity and good fortune. The petals are made with the traditional Chinese filigree technique, and sparkling gemstones form the stamens. Purple pearls native to China are strung together with the lily forms, and purple crystals add further color. The necklace belongs to a set that also includes a bracelet and a pair of earrings. The design suits both daily wear and evening occasions.
Purple Lily Pearl Necklace by Binying Xu was selected as a creative example of fashion design by the A' Design Awards. Purple Lily Pearl Necklace won the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2024. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which celebrates superior design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
