Cheers is a brooch shaped as a large wine glass that also contains smaller glasses of various shapes. The smaller glasses represent moments of celebration. Japanese akoya pearls represent the bubbles rising in the wine, and the pearls can swing freely. The brooch is made of 18K gold set with natural diamonds and akoya pearls. The back is also formed as a wine glass with flowing bubbles. Movable joints were carefully placed so that the brooch feels light and comfortable when worn. The design recalls happy moments shared with friends.
Cheers Brooch by Yunhua Cheng has been selected as a creative representation of fashion design by the A' Design Award. Cheers Brooch won the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2024. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
