Marilyn
Marilyn is a jewelry set made from recycled non-plated 925 silver. The set includes a necklace, a bracelet and earrings. The flowing forms express curls and wind by the beach. Each piece is shaped by lost wax casting and traditional goldsmith techniques, and finished with a needle matt surface. The necklace parts are linked at balanced points, so the set follows the movements of the wearer. The bracelet follows the shape of the wrist, and the earrings are light and curve near the face. The set suits formal and semi-formal events. Production takes place in Sonkajarvi, Finland.
Marilyn Jewelry by Anna-Reetta Väänänen was selected as a creative example of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Marilyn Jewelry was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2024. The A' Jewelry Design Award is a highly prestigious international design prize that celebrates outstanding design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
